The NHS Covid-19 Vaccination Bus returns to Wirral

The NHS COVID-19 vaccination bus will be returning to Wirral on Monday 16 August 2021, providing residents with an alternative and convenient way to access the vaccine, without the need to make an appointment.
The bus will be parked at the following locations between 10am and 6pm:
- Monday 16 August – Birkenhead Park Visitors Centre
- Tuesday 17 August – Central Park, Wallasey
- Wednesday 18 August – Fort Perch Rock, New Brighton
- Wednesday 25 August – Ridgeway High
A pop up vaccination clinic will also be running on Saturday 21 August at The Little Centre, Fifth Avenue, Birkenhead CH43 9LB, 10am - 1.30pm
The clinics are open to anyone aged over 16.
First and second doses of both AstraZeneca and Pfizer vaccines are available.
There must be a minimum of 8 weeks between first and second doses.

Anyone not able to attend the clinics above can book their vaccination appointment in one of the following ways:
- Visit www.nhs.uk/covid-vaccination or call 119 to book an appointment at a different venue (you can also use this website/phone number to book your second dose).
- Walk-in to one of Wirral’s GP-led or pop up vaccination clinics. Dates and times of walk in clinics can be found on the CCG website.
- Book an appointment at one of Wirral’s GP-led vaccination clinics by calling your GP practice.
If you have not booked your appointments yet, you're still eligible and can book or attend a walk-in vaccination clinic anytime.
