Tell us your views on policies around Continuing Healthcare and Complex Care

NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC) is for people with long-term complex health needs who qualify for free social care arranged and funded solely by the NHS. This includes Funded Nursing Care (FNC) or a contribution to a Joint package of Care (JPC).

All Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) are committed to providing the right care in the right place and at the right time. This means safe, high quality and clinically effective health care services which are available fairly and equitably across the local area, making the best use of NHS resources.
As part of our regular and ongoing improvement to our policies we are currently reviewing our commissioning policy and want to ensure that we’re doing this with those that use our services.

With this in mind, we are asking patients, carers as well as the general public, staff and other stakeholders about planned revisions to the Commissioning Policy for NHS Eastern Cheshire CCG, NHS South Cheshire CCG, NHS Vale Royal CCG, NHS West Cheshire CCG and NHS Wirral CCG.

This is to ensure that the packages of care provided are aligned with these values and realised across all of the Cheshire and Wirral.

You can read the draft policy through the link below, and then provide feedback via our online survey

We value your feedback and thank you in advance for taking the time to tell us your experiences.
The survey is open until Monday 16 July 2018.
