Local Dementia Strategy - share your views
23 November 2018
Wirral Health & Care Commissioning (in partnership with providers) is looking to refresh the local Dementia Strategy, outlining what the ambition for Dementia Care in Wirral will be over the next four years (2019-2022).
In order to localise the Wirral strategy and identify the core areas of focus, the plan needs to be developed in partnership with those who have lived experience of Dementia. This includes:
- Those people living with a Dementia diagnosis
- Carers of people with Dementia
- Family member or friend of someone living with Dementia
- People who work with people living with Dementia across health, social, third, voluntary and charity sector organisations
In order to capture people’s views a survey has been developed to determine people’s experience and perceptions of Dementia Care now and how services can be improved and sustained for the future.
Responses will feed into the development of a Wirral Dementia Strategy and will be completely anonymous.
The survey can be accessed here: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/WHCC_DEMENTIA and is aimed at staff, patients and Carers.
Please share the survey link via your internal and external communications channels, so as many people as possible have the opportunity to share their views and shape our future Dementia Care.
The survey will take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete and will close on Friday 14th December.
