To achieve Healthy Wirral, we need your help!
It is crucial that the proposals are co-developed with the public and staff, to ensure they meet the needs of the Wirral population, with the right capacity and balance across the community, residential and hospital services.
We have already been collating and evaluating invaluable feedback from patients, staff and the wider public about the initial proposals. The information has been gathered from engagement events, focus groups and on-line surveys. It will help to steer the development of the plans to transform health and social care. Your feedback and suggestions have also enabled us to make immediate changes to some services, to help improve patient experience - check out the you said we are doing page to find out more!
To find out more information about engagement activities to date please refer to the top right hand side of this page.
12 workstreams have been set up, to make Healthy Wirral happen. Staff from all partner organisations are involved in these programmes, providing their expertise and front-line experience. A workstream engagement group has been established with representatives from patient and community groups to ensure that we are involving ALL Wirral communities with Vision 2018.
Healthy Wirral posters and leaflets are also being produced, to help inform Wirral residents about some of the key challenges and proposals. Furthermore Healthy Wirral will be presented at a number of events over the coming months.
As Healthy Wirral progresses, there will be many more opportunities to get involved and have your say. Please check this website for regular updates, or register for our mailing list via the email address or phone number below:
